In the second, they are looking at each other very close, smiling. In the third, the woman playfully makes funny eyebrows with her hands near her eyes, and the man is laughing. In the last panel, the woman is smiling with her chin resting on her hand, and only part of the man's legs is visible.

Meet Emily & Steve

  • Parents to three amazing children: Eden, Junebug, and Jules.

  • We have two matching tattoos.

  • Huge Wes Anderson fans (obviously)

  • In 2015 we sold our house, quit our office jobs and spent a year travelling around Asia and Europe building our photography business - we have been full-time since then and are 100% living our dream life thanks to our wonderful couples.

  • We home educate our children which means we have the freedom to travel in the winter months.

  • Obsessed with backgammon - we got nicknamed “that backgammon couple” on our honeymoon after playing it for many hours at the beach bar.

  • Bookworms - East of Eden and The Great Gatsby are a couple of our favourites. Our house is slowly turning into a library.

  • We love the nostalgia of 35mm film.

  • We love indie flicks and are hugely inspired by these in our photography but we also have a soft spot for cheesy action films (Nicolas Cage, anyone?).

  • Constantly quoting Alan Partridge, Peep Show, and The Office USA - always makes our day when you send a quote in your email to us.

We live for the moments you'll most likely miss

We’re inspired by our favorite filmmakers—composing shots with the symmetry of Wes Anderson, the dreaminess of Terrence Malick, and the heartfelt intimacy of Richard Curtis. If you’re drawn to cinematic storytelling and meaningful moments, our style is the perfect fit.

On your wedding day, we’re calm, unobtrusive, and blend seamlessly into the background—like true photo ninjas. Guests often tell us they didn’t even notice us, and that’s exactly how we capture the most natural, candid memories.

We love photographing all kinds of weddings—whether it’s a dreamy garden celebration, a cozy countryside barn, or a grand manor house affair. Every love story deserves its own spotlight.

We’re often praised for our relaxed, calm presence—it’s this easygoing approach that lets us capture those beautifully intimate moments when people are truly themselves with their guards down.

But most of all, we just want to capture people in love.

Meet the Team

Meet the Team *

Finding photographers who felt like a seamless extension of ourselves was no small feat — but we did it. We sought out individuals with an exceptional eye for those fleeting moments and a style that aligned perfectly with ours.

When we edit their work, it’s as if we’re editing weddings we captured ourselves, ensuring every frame feels unmistakably "us." With Josie and Mi in our team, we can bring our signature style to more couples while maintaining the artistry and care we’re known for.
